"Whatever Happen to Diann Burns"

Whatever happen to former WBBM TV News Anchor Diann Burns.

Burns was fired in a massive round of budget cuts that massacred half of the station news room employees last
year. Burns was the highest paid TV news anchor in the region. Her ESTIMATED five year-$10 million contract was not renewed. Ironically, Burns was removed from top-rated WLS TV in 2003...at which time she was also bringing in millions of dollars.

I'm sure Burns is not standing in line for Public Aid. I've always liked Diann Burns, she has class and statue. I'm gonna do some research and find out what she is doing for you guys.

Puff.......Puff: The Little Green Trees

Chicago- Cook County Commissioners are debating whether to decriminalize the use of marijuana. If some of the county officials have their way, small amounts of marijuana could be penalized with a simple ticket rather than criminal prosecution.

The proposed ordinance would give law enforcement sole discretion whether to arrest or give the offender a ticket for $200.

"The measure would apply to 10 grams of cannabis, which is about one third of an ounce, or less. It was sponsored by Commissioner Earlean Collins, a Chicago Democrat, who said it would most likely apply to young people with one cigarette or "joint" for personal use.The ordinance passed 12-3, with Commissioners Greg Goslin of Glenview, Timothy Schneider of Bartlett, and Jerry "The Iceman" Butler voting against it.Butler opposed it because he said it gives the officer too much discretion to discriminate,"said Robert McCoppin, a Daily Herald writer.
